Ladies’ Section
The Club’s Ladies’ section is an active and growing section of the club with its membership increasing from 40, 7 years ago, to its current level of 103.
The section is very friendly with individual members of the committee being tasked with helping and introducing all new members to the club.
There is a full range of social and competitive golf available and tailored to suit all levels of ability and no one is ever left out or without a partner.
Competition day is generally Wednesday but to accommodate our working ladies then weekend competitions are organised.
HERE COME THE GIRLS – Season 3
HERE COME THE GIRLS is an innovative coaching programme designed to encourage ladies to love golf. In excess of 100 ladies have attended these sessions, with more than 20 going on to full membership. Now in its third season we are looking for new recruits.
The weekly group sessions will allow you to start playing the great game of golf with other like-minded ladies. The programme has been specifically developed to give you easy access to affordable lessons. You will learn how to get started, you will learn the basics to get you playing and you will do this at the same time as meeting new people and developing new friendships. The sessions take place during the day or in the evening so there should be a time that fits around busy schedules. You don’t need to have any equipment to start off with as this will all be supplied for you.
